When you complete the main storyline, you will be wasted a lot of time by those small games and tedious collections

Which genius thought that to complete the collection of monsters in the encyclopedia, 70 must be killed

It's really disgusting

I like having the logs to pursue. To each their own of course. If you want to see change, coming off more pleasantly can net you a lot more wanted results. Passively insulting the developer won't win you much change, if that's what you really want.

Yes, I did go a little overboard, and I'm sorry about that. But as a remastered game, it is very convenient to add the haunt of mobsters in the collection log. I have been playing this game for 60 hours, but it is this torturous design that makes me have to spend more time.

Mmh, I mean, nothing is really forcing you to get the achievements for things you don't enjoy doing. I've been skipping the fishing games myself, because I got too frustrated getting insta-deleted by the boss monsters on the last three stages. :)

That said, the 70 kill requirement is quite steep for some of the monsters. I think I mentioned it in another thread, but the 70 kills for specifically Blue and Gold drakes requires you to play through the final dungeon in the game a total of *five* times. This was a bit excessive, and at the end of my fifth run with no other enemies left in the hunting log, I was very ready to not go back to that dungeon for a long time. :D

TL;DR: Interesting thread I personally love the idea to grind down and slay the monsters 70x, it feels like "catching" since breeding can be difficult but not too much and you need only 1. If my opinion makes sense to you. For example in Siralim instead of loging a monster it used to be killing only and then extracting. In this game its a combination of killing and evolving. Makes it harder but feels more rewarding in the end, knowing alot of ppl wont go through the hassle to hunt down these monsters. After all that said Im almost done hunting i need the Gold Scorpion location and the Blue Dragon location but I dont remember where :P.

I like the Hunting Log, in theory. However, a combination of no clear indication of where a monster can be found, along some monsters just being generally rare or having a low spawn count (looking at you drakes) make this a bit tedious.

Still pales in comparison to the Card Dungeon and Fishing Survivor. Both are fun side activities earlier on but later on become extremely tedious.

On Xbox I have everything done except the hunting log, which is at 78%. I'm alright for the locations of most of them, but where the hell are those damn lizards??

Hunting log is driving me crazy. I'm now at 83%. For some creatures, if I've been lucky enough to find just one, I've been killing it, returning to title, reloading then killing it again. This is no way to play the game. Please give us some indication where the monsters are to be found? Please!
