Help: Nameless Exploding Plants
I have come across this plants that once near they will start to engorge then explode in a small area. Is there anyway around this? A potion? Talisman? Do I need throw something at it to destroy? I am unable to even find the name of it, so searches for it are slim. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated! <3

I don't know if there is something you can do about the mushrooms but I can tell you their name. If you try to take a picture of one with the camera the game simply labels it as "exploding mushroom".

They are not really that dangerous so I have never given them much thought myself. They do stand out in an odd way though.

I think they are just environmental hazards to avoid

I just walk around them - weave a nice wide path. I do not think you can get rid of them. It seems quite often they're by something good!

Totally Agree: like Beehives, Scorpions & Spider Nests, Exploding Mushrooms are Game Hazards. For example, there's a large cluster of them N of Horace & Tulok in the Northern Steppes between two dig sites, and near the Pixie Cups (renamed, sadly, to Scarlet Cups) in a shallow valley E of Sacred Grove.

I found that Abrill likes sprinting zig-zag back and forth through them just for sport, bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang...I 'should' make a video of that.

I also learned to take advantage of the long reach of Picker and Silver Sickle: sneak up toward an herb or mushroom between two Exploding Mushrooms until the Picker's animated pointer lights up, then simply pick that herb or mushroom from from where she's standing.

BTW—Black on White: Abrill waits until Frost season to raid all Spider Dens on the Island— black spiders really stand out on white snow. Then she swats them with her Great Bug Net to collect Venom (a source of Death Essence) often in Commissions from/for Charna and Frita.

Those Spiders won't respawn for several Game Years, making it safe for Abrill to gather near their Dens without being bitten by any number of those "celery-chompers" too dark to see easily on dark terrain in Bloom thru Reverie seasons.

OK, I think I've written enough about this. I shush now.
