Wild cuflow adoption

How can we adopt wild cuflows? I tried in lots of different ways, coming from different places. I stuck them in the cuflow coop, but they are not counted in the cuflow coop. I give them treats, I feed them, but in the morning, they are never there. In the breeder, they remain, but I don't know if they are males or females, I clicked everywhere, they don't appear anywhere, however, I just got an egg with the symbol dna, it is currently in incubation. I don't know what breeds I took, nor the gender, it's all chance. Is it impossible to adopt wild cuflows?

I hold my wild cuflow and then click (might be right or left click) on some part of the coop, (might be the icon on the front of the coop) eventually comes up a box giving me the chance to name my cuflow and he/she is added to my coop that way.

Thank you for your answer . But I tried to click on the little drawing with the cuflow head on the cuflow coop, where you can see if the cuflows are inside or not, but I got nothing and the cuflow runs away. I had seen a video where the person did it, but it was from 11 months ago and it seems that there have been changes since then and that this function is no longer available, or different, I don't know not, because I can't. Only the breeder accepts wild birds in my game

Huh thats annoying for you. Have you tried right clicking? I had a bug with my rooster but it worked itself out by the next day.
Maybe build another coop and try adding your wild cuflow to that?

It's crazy . I have 3 wild cuflows of different breeds. There are two that I wanted to release, I brought them back to where I had taken them, and they return each time in the breeder with the pair that I wanted and that prevents the eggs from being laid. So I built a new breeder (2 breeders, 2 coops) and put them in it. I don't know if they will stay there. I have no idea their race, gender, age. Nowhere can I find this information, since I cannot add it to a coop. I had 2 little ones, a girl and a boy, yellow comets. I got the girl's name wrong, is it possible to rename her? Thank you in any case for your answers. I'm passionate about this game and its possibilities, so I'm delighted to finally be able to talk about it!

You need to clock on the cuflow coop itself, not the poster with cuflow on it. The coop itself must light up and then right click while holding the cuflow.

You can tell genders apart from their looks. Generally females have nothing on their head and males have a feather sticking out.
For example, for a green beak (the ones running near your home) the females have nothing on their head while the male looks like this https://witchoffernisland.wiki.gg/wiki/File:Greenlegs.png

Thank you very much, I just had a green beaked chick, then a female yellow comet.
I also thought that those with feathers on their heads were males, so I went to choose a big firebird with feathers on its head and brought it back to breed with a white hen. There are no more eggs. So it must be a female. I'm going to need a white male, I imagine to make eggs with the firebird.
My white hen must have made eggs with a male yellow comet (although I thought I had taken a firebird ^^).
For the name, the sex of wild birds, when I click right or left, on the coop, it's the same, the bird runs away, nothing else happens. I've tried everything, only the breeder works. On the other hand, I can no longer get rid of these wild birds, even when I take them very far, they are back in the last breeder where I put them the next morning :/

Thats funny, I had a red rooster who came calling and was hanging around so I adopted him and called him squattie cause he was squatting. then another young lady came calling, she was a green and I added her to my gang too, I needed another coop I got so many visiting cluckers! I just love them, they are so fun and sweet.
Squattie was a huge boy and I thought he'd be a hit with the ladies in the breeding pen but he totally freaked out and hid for a week! So I replaced him with my small red rooster flame and he got straight down to business and I got my first ever egg!
My husband reckoned Squattie is bugged and I should let him go but he's such a big cute fella I cant bear to.

I really hope hope you manage to get your birds into the coop Dalailah, its so nice having them there. I cant imagine how frustrated you must be feeling!

Oh I understand you, you must be overjoyed to have had your first chick. I didn't remember my name because I was so happy. I would really like to adopt the parents, to give them a name. I still have the joy of having the chicks in the coop now, who love to be petted. I have another coop with two brunettes and one white (MonaLisa, Houlala and Naphtaline) that I've had for a long time and I love them so much. It's the white one that gave me 2 yellow comets. I hope they don't die in the game

I know the feeling, I cant even bear to sell my cluckies cause they are so sweet! I love the names you gave your girls-MonaLisa, Houlala and Naphtaline, such lovely and elegant names, totally suiting the little ladies!

I thought I might roleplay being a chicken breeder and seller but I want to keep them all they are so cute! I really hope your cluckies dont die too!! Keep me posted Dalailala!!

I succeeded! That's what you said, but I had to hold down the right mouse button when the coop was highlighted and at that moment, I was able to adopt the wild cuflow.
I'm so happy, you can't even imagine! I have lots of chickens now XD. I enlarged the 2 coops....

I'm having fun with the chicks...wow ! The little hens lay eggs around 16 days old, it goes quickly !

I will check when I get a coop in this new game I started (last one crashed and cant be loaded as is) to make some screens how it works for me, but otherwise it sounds like your coops/cuflows are bugged for some reason. I have read here some people reporting that they definitely caught a male and triple checked it was a male but it turned to female overnight.

When you put a wild cuflow in the normal coop, clicking the poster with cuflow on it will show the cuflows which are in that coop and also their age, gender and if its female, how many eggs it has laid.

Oh? I also told myself that I was often wrong. I used masculine names and thought I had the wrong gender when I found myself with females. I hope they don't change gender again !

The game also has issues with taking screenshots at least for me xD
The more I read the forums and discord, the more broken it looks sadly.
Otherwise I love everything about it if it would just work :'(
