Can't find butterfly for broom quest?

Where the heck is that butterfly?? I have almost everything else but every bug house thingy I check- nada. I just want my broom T_T

Honestly I think it was one of the first things I got, If I can trust my memory it was at the Bug house near the pond in front of the house.

Might be seasonal though. You might have to clear the house a few times for it to spawn (Ant's are hard to see and might be already spawned.

I remember getting it soon after I found the bugnet in the fishing store. That was likely End of (I can't recall the Season Names) summer but before Winter.

Chimera Birdwings are available during the seasons of storm and bask (2 & 3) in the regions of the steeps (central plains), foothills (low elevation southeast forest), and cliffs (high elevation southeast forest).

If you have trouble getting one to appear at an insect hotel during those seasons, you can use refreshing nectar (light blue) to lure them.
