From the reviews I saw, No. No male "witch", wizard, or the older Scottish form "Warlock". It's a fantasy game. Call it what you want. It's still not available from what I can see.

Lets not be disrespectful yes? Hika is Japanese so their intent wasn't to push genders per se, more like something lost in translation or misunderstood originally.

For now as Tayler said have to go on reviews so far to see if you can be either male or female, and so far there is no review saying you can. I will probably buy the game shortly, as I am a sucker for farming games.

I can confirm no male characters, but then I don't know why people are worried, it's as if they haven't played a game with a female protagonist before - example Tomb Raider etc.

If Tomb Raider were a game from 2024, people would also ask for the option to play as male and demand romance options. And if all this had been implemented, they would call the game woke.
