new metal shelves not so good

I don't think these new metal shelves where 3 boxes make one box are very great, I would like to have 3 individual boxes on the shelf so that I can sort them better according to my taste

Same here. I still have all my old chests floating in the air at the moment (the patch removed the old shelves and left the boxes), I separate each type of object into it's own chest (eggs in one, high tier flowers in another, low tier flowers in another, etc. In fairness a bigger box is nice but I'd rather it be something like a big cupboard or similar rather than removing the shelves.

same here, I thought it would be separate chest not one big one of course big is better cause it has more slots to put things but I would've love it, if it would've been 3 separate chest.

If you don't like the racks just use the big chests, no one is forcing you, the house has way more room than you ever need and the farm area as well.

That's your choice, The only thing that needs adjusting is how the auto sort settings work and better sorting.
