Does anyone know if the broom quest can be completed?

I haven't gotten there yet, but you have to contact your witch mentor to do it. So you'll have to get a crystal ball first.

yes i just found all the pieces

I had trouble with one piece, it was under on of the umbrellas near the end of the beach. Poor eyes I guesss.

Frita. She'll ask you to bring her I think it was five quartz and 1000 coins.

I got the crystal ball and everything but it still tells me I need to ask Absura to get the broom blueprints

Has anyone figured out a decent way to make coins? I watched a stream last night and everything sold for very little plus they were needed items. To get to 1000 will take a long time, unless that is intended...like the greenhouse in stardew

Collecting shells on the beach right next to the city and a bit north of it provided me with an abundance of simple charms to sell for 100 each. It's enough to get started. After that, there will be several sources of income.
I do need to find that flower that lets me talk to Absura, though.

the short day with the need to return home to sleep makes exploring really a choppy experience. then i am still unable to mark the map in any way, so don't even know where i found smthng or already was previously.

As rupsch mentioned above, if you collect shells from the beaches, you can make Shell Necklaces that sell for 100 ea. If you get a way to get honey (beehive, bug net, or get good at dodging), can make Plant Revival Potions which sell for 180 ea. There might be better options but those are my go-to's atm.

I'm in the same boat as Rupsch for broom quest though; I haven't found any Mirage Agrimony in my travels.

The Mirage Agrimony spawns on the east side of your farm but the only time I've found it is during The Bask Season.

i've seen it somewhere but can't recall, did search now several times, i'm probably missing smthng very obvious, lol

I believe the bug net is at the Fishing Shop, in town.
