When can you get watermelon seeds?

I read from others its from certain seasons, but would that then mean I might as well restart my game. Im in Reverie and there's no watermelon seeds as someone said there should be. And now I would have to wait 2 whole seasons before the next time I can get seeds which is absolutely ridiculous and a waste of 40 in game days.

Watermelon seeds are available (and grow) every year during Storm, Bask, and Harvest. They take about 11 days to mature, so be sure to plant them early in the season!
