Listen, we're all hopeful that this game is awesome, but remember that is was an Aliens franchise game which broke the proverbial camel's back years ago with Colonial Marines.

AVP 2010 is offically AVP3, so I think you mean AVP 4.

Not only was that a completely different publisher and developer, but 90% of the games in the Aliens franchise are good. Colonial Marines was the rare exception.

Also you can just refund within 2 hours of playtime on release if you don't like it, so pre-ordering isn't really a risk anymore.
