This gun is the literal worst heavy weapon in the game. What is the point of this thing? Bad ammo economy, bad damage, so what's the point?

With the right set up it can one shot runners on Insane. Meaning it's deffo not the worst weapon in the game.

There's plenty of other weapons that can do that. Such as the rocket launchers, grenade launchers, headshots from the autocannon, harsh language.

I'm talking about Insane, not Intense. Thunderbolt Autocannon can't one tap runners on Insane ; afaik if we're talking heavy weapons only M12 RPG, M12A1 (with Clear The Room/Overwatch stacks) and M94 (on headshot) can do so, other than the HEL. And besides, HEL can still one tap on body shot too, which is something only the M12 RPG can also achieve. That makes 2 out of 12 heavies. So, there are not "plenty" of other weapons that can do that. I'd say the microburst is the worst heavy, it seems terrible as a fodder killer compared to other launchers ; and M95 and M12A1 are direct downgrades from M94 and M12 RPG.
