How to turn off the target hit sound effect ?
It seems that this specific sound effect is link to the entire FX volume, I hope not...
In the settings I only see the option to deactivate the headshot one.

Its under gameplay settings. You can show damage numbers, remove the "X" on kills and remove the riff that plays on headshot kills.

The only thing I can think of is the Headshot SFX. It makes a noise when this is accomplished.

Settings > Audio > Headshot SFX

I never heard a sound on hit.
