"Lost connection to host" literally every single match I get into.
As the title says, every match I can get into loses connection to host 5-10 minutes into the mission. I've wasted 4 challenge cards so far and the disconnects seem to have no end in sight. My friend got me the game on sale and for the first couple of weeks I had no connection issues but for some reason tonight I'm just dropping from games constantly... is this just something we have to deal with with this game? ♥♥♥♥'s really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ depressing man.

Since the recent update, recons that use Guard Dog is causing a lot of freezing and crashing which disconnects the other players. Hopefully a QoL hotfix will be released soon.

It's improved heaps since the recent patch. For me/our area it used to be a toss-up: 50% chance instant disconnect on mission start, with a smaller chance to disconnect about half-way through. Lag, spikes, audio bugs, flying aliens. Pre-patch it has taken us up to half an hour of trying to all be in the same game some times, this time, bang, game on.

Played for several hours with friends (same city) last night. Much cleaner and smoother after patch. It even chugged at one point (symptom of desyncing and imminent loss of session I believe) but it managed to recover. Load-in times also appear to have improved. Observational bias perhaps but it feels better in multiplayer now.

It's not perfect, there can still be session problems, especially with any kind of network issue/latency with host but credit to Cold Iron for addressing something that's been complained about for a very long time.
Unfortunately, the developers are ignoring the problem. I don't think this will be resolved

They are not ignoring the problem. The update was released recently ( 18 days ago ). And they've been reaching out to individuals having this issue. Which not everyone is experiencing freezing or crashing. But the ones that are experiencing issues can send bug reports to https://coldiron.gg/BugReports Or even if you are able to send the error when it occurs.

In order to make the entire player base happy because of connection issues / crashing / freezing, they'd have to release a hotfix. Until then, people should be aware not to use Guard Dog to prevent the issue.

I hope the dev team are farming this discussion group for complaints in some sort of automated fashion. Most people don't know -- or will not bother -- with filing a formal bug report.

Is tagging (e.g. "bug") available here?

They pay attention and chime in every now and then. They did the day after the QoL patch release. Telling people to report the issue to the link above. But yeah, they take note of what people are saying here and in QoL Update Discussion.

Most reviews were positive with thankful comments. Some were upset there was no new content. And some had issues with freezing and crashing.

Not that I'm aware of any tagging but they are reading what people post.

What's nonsense is making an assumption that the developers are ignoring the problem and that you don't think it will be resolved. So you try to spread a negative and false narrative when they're making QoL updates to improve the game.

No, the Developers are suggesting Bug Reports. This is only the first QoL update. There's more to come.

Welp... They ignored the problem with weapon shooting sound problem and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ netcode is still around xdd

I still play just about every night and have no issues. The weapon sound problems persist from time to time. Either smart gun sound not shutting off or sometimes weapon sounds can be muted.
I am getting kicked mission 3 several times. :(
