How long does it take to find random players for casual/standard difficulty missions for first playthrough?

Hello.

How long does it usually take to find random players for casual/standard difficulty missions for first playthrough?

I have waited in the queue for about 20 mins for the first story mission with crossplay enabled and didn't find anybody so far.

Im in East Europe, during the day usually less than a minute.

Might want to check your firewall apps and settings.

Just to clarify I am not talking about the quick matches but specific ones to complete the story for the first time on either easy or medium difficulty.

Can you elaobrate a bit what kind of settings should I have?

Casual? probably nobody. The bots are strong enough to complete Casual without you having to fire a shot so i doubt you'll find many people looking for other players here.

Standard, i imagine you'll find a few people that are new to the game here (idk I've never queued for standard).

Intense, almost instant queue pop very easy to find games if i had to guess this is where about 75%~ of the population is.

Extreme and Insane have okay queue times, maybe 1-2min during peak hours.

Unless something changed with the patch yesterday the way the queues work is if you pick a specific mission you are in a queue looking for like minded players, so depending on the map you'll have a harder time finding players.

Also that patch i mentioned its not out on all platforms, we are missing Xbox/microsoft gamepass players so until everyones on the same patch queue times are going to be a bit longer than usual.

Does it matter what is my combat rating when trying to find players for intense difficulty? I can't seem to find any players on any difficulty at all. Maybe the issue isn't the low playerbase.

On lower difficulties rating doesnt matter, you should be able to find someone at least.
Do you have any firewall software? That player base is low but not that low, I always find someone during the day.

I just have the basic windows firewall but I even disabled that completely yet I can't find any players at all. I have tried with both challenge cards enable and disable. I have almost spent 2 hours in the game by now and other than doing the first mission with bots the rest of that time was spent searcing for players on different difficulties.

Can't even find quick matches with a save game that completed the story. No idea what's causing this but I have read other threads and posts about this and none of them appear to be solved.

By the way, you can't use public matchmaking if you're using mods

I saw a post saying that download region setting in steam matters. What should I set my download region to?

I dont think that matters, thats where you download the game from.
In P2P it only matters where the host is, and either way, you should be able to find someone.
Not sure what the problem could be.
Did you finish the game once with bots?

Thank you for trying to help but I am going to request a refund. I have tried every solution that I could find online, been on reddit, saw countless threads here and at random websites and other places and none of the solutions worked for me.

At first I have tried to play the game normally but it didn't work, so I used someone else's save file to test it if I can join quick matches but I can't even do that.

Have fun people who are actually able to play the game online.
