with mods you can play with friends at private lobbies but not use the 'quickplay' option
Tons of customization and progression, I'm US West and find games in less than 60 seconds.
Play the game on Insane difficulty mode with no/minimal HUD and thank me later.
story mode is do able in insane, if you have good gears and cards
some game mode is impossible in solo, like point defend
that's not true at all...wtf?
YES, you do get better rewards for higher difficulties. some guns and attachments only come from intense+ difficulty
you do.
regarding MP, it's roughly 500 daily average players...on Steam. Those number don't reflect the grand total because it's crossplay. Most of my team mates most of the time are on console. So, my guess is that the grand total could easily be 2-3 times larger than the Steam daily average. I usually find games pretty fast.
Best bet would be to play with friends over relying on the community. PC group play is non-existent since the group finder hasn't functioned well in a long while now. You can group with console players, but the lag is real. That all said, I still play it solo and enjoy it...though it admittedly could be so much more with people.
And I'll confirm what DiGiorno said here...you DO get select attachments and cosmetics with higher difficulty levels, horde play, and seasonal events. But what you get out of standard play is plenty enough IMO.
