Steam users like to think they are better, both in tech and at gameplay than most of the world. Fact is, people were bad even before crossplay and most people also use glitches to secure victories. Despite what people think, the doors ARE SUPPOSE TO CLOSE in the start of an encounter. Utilizing the doors is infact a glitch.

Well, we have a lot more players, with crossplay and steam users that came back, obviously some guys still lack some experience for harder difficulties and funny crap can happen, but it's fine.

But they really need to fix the crossplay problem, everytime someone crosses a gate is a freeze...and xenos don't freeze inn the meantime.

I disagree, xenos can still touch you and kill you, glitchs are to abuse scenario collisions to be immortal, some of those tricks I never have seen before annd now I am seeing done by the new crooossplay players.

If you walk into the room, the door locks behind you. Standing in the door way abuses the mechanics that the developers put into play and creates a scenario that shouldn't happen. If you want proof that this is not intended, go do gift of fire 3, stand in the door way, but a little bit behind it. The door opens and it shuts the moment the encounter begins and it does not re-open even after the fight is concluded.

People've been abusing this glitch since the game came out, but the thing is, they also think because they funnel the aliens, that they somehow became "Better" at the game. Quite the opposite. When you can do horde mode on insane without glitching it? Then you've officially piqued and shown you got better. That means, standing your ground at the starting point and surviving the onslaught before you, but judging strictly by insane clear rates? I'd say this number is very, very small across all platforms.

i mean i got crossplay on and finding anyone to play with in the lobby takes up to 30 minutes so it did not make things any better.

People on PC don't complain, it's just the ones, the only ones you see apparently, who aren't in chat groups to play with other.

Mechanics that should not exist in the first place, it makes not sense, so the door works now but as soon as I cross it becomes a death trap, it lost electricity.

Again, xenos can still touch and kill you, it's not a glitch.

The problem isn't that they're bad, the problem is that the networking between the two is awful, if a console player is host and a PC player joins then you'll likely start rubberbanding around.

It' pretty obvious when you have a console player hosting the game. Most of the time i just drop and find a game that isn't lagging as much.
As for the other stuff, let others play the game how they wish. They paid for it.

Long Years i defend both sides, since last Patch i regret it...Console PLayers on Crossplay are the worst ,useless , unskilled in Teamplay trolling ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Fact. Rushing on Easy ,not fine but ok. But they keep this Rushing and missing and failing until Extreme where they REALLY suck HARD. Kids these Days have no intention to heal others( or even use the HEAL as DOC). They Focus on Call of ♥♥♥♥♥ mentality= Use ur whole Ammunition for 1 Teamkill in the first 120 seconds.....after more than 120 Games with Console Players, iam done, Crossplay deactivated. And even IF this Game will have no Players on PC, there are other ways to beat it with Bots on Extreme.
