deluxe edition, why do we have to pay for a dlc then?

Only the first 4 season were available in the deluxe edition this DLC isn't part of the last season

Deluxe was the old edition (probably the "into the hive" edition now). Ultimate now includes everything released.

Deluxe Edition when I pre-purchased a year ago was $60, and apparently doesn't include Pathogen, and yet the new Ultimate Edition includes Pathogen, and everything else I paid $60 for, and, surprise, is just $60.

CI just sent out a big F-U to the players who originally got this game. So, F-U CI, I'm not giving you another dime, ever again. Shady AF business practices in play here.

This. I was typing up something about this but stopped to do some research to make sure I wasn't being too hot headed for nothing. I was like something isn't adding up when it comes to the cost of everything and really can't see me buying the DLC anytime soon now.

The store page shows Ultimate Edition under the Digital Deluxe heading, and Ultimate is $10 cheaper, but includes more content.

This feels like a bait and switch, and I don't say that lightly.

Especially worse in that they waited a year before switching after the initial bait basically

Was looking forward to seeing how much the game might revive new season/xpac, but this isn't helping anything...

I guess the "4 full DLCs" mentioned in the original marketing material for the Endeavor Pass were just the outfit bundles.

What do we get for pre-ordering and supporting Cold Iron when no one had faith? A slap in the face.

What do the Johnny-come-lately's get? All of the content for which we paid MORE, and they get the latest DLC for FREE.

Another slap in the face.

This is disrespectful to say the least, and nobody from CI is even talking in the official Discord, they're just letting the volunteer mods take the brunt of it.

Isn't that usually how it goes when you're the first to buy something though? Games, cars, clothes, etc. You always end up paying a higher price than others who wait for a sale or something. I got the Deluxe Edition when it was on sale back a few weeks ago for $24 USD and it's given me a lot of hours of fun so far and I'm planning to get Pathogen at full price now to support the game since I did get the base game on a discount. I do want them to make more content and willing to pay for that if it's good. No one is forcing anyone to get the expansion or pay the current price. You can always wait for another Steam sale -- I mean Labor Day is next week, there might be a sale then or even during November around Thanksgiving / Black Friday when Steam does a 60 - 75% off sale on most games...

yeah its just unfair to get deluxe edition and the whole year u get 5 dlc with only outfits and so on, and bam when a dlc release with new maps we have to pay 15 euro for it. I paid more for delxue edition than its ultimate edition now at full price, i mean come on we dont support beeing milked, i was looking forward for this game but no more, srry but it is a big MEH from me and i dont care if its going to be dlc on sale or not. Shame on u devs

why steam not tell what Ultimate Edition bundle contain? if is everything include all seasons so is business trap cuz same price as the deluxe
