No players even with Xbox game pass?

The game got added to Game Pass today and even with that, I still can't find a team for the very first mission at default difficulty during prime ET evening hours. Weird...

Steam players can't play with Game Pass players, but the GP players can play with the xbox consoles ones though

I had no trouble finding a game on gamepass last night but it seems totally messed up tonight, saying it can't reach the matchmaking server. Maybe the influx of new players is straining the system.

Could be influx related or could just be a borked, janky, barely functional game. Either way, had the same experience as you. Very weird stuff all around.

It could totally keep the game alive if it was openly crossplatform on everything, sadly it will most likely never happen, yesterday steamdb showed around 1k players for the update day, now we down to 600, soon we will be back to 300 again

Removing choice, nonworking drops and a game mode that actively go against the gameplay type they deliberately instilled and enforced for the normal mode will do that.

It's not AWS, it's just the game has bad network tech and has had an anemic, dwindling community since launch

I'm really disappointed for no steam crossplay. I'm about as big a gamepass shill as you will find, but no crossplay is a huge middle finger to the steam community supporting the game up till now. It's very not cool.
