You could also connect the internet cable directly to your pc bypassing router just to check that first.
You're not bypassing the router when you use an Ethernet cable to connect your PC to the router. You're just changing the connection from wireless to wired.
Uhm. Yes that's what it means - you are bypassing router in order to connect the cable to PC directly. It depends if your pc got internal ethernet adapter or a card installed. If you do not connect your router to your ethernet cable supplied by your ISP - you are obviously bypassing it. Not entirely sure what you meant?
Oh. I got it. I think you are confusing wi-fi and router. It all depends on how your PC is connecting to the internet - either you have an ISP cable going into the router then another cable is going to your pc from that router, or you are using wireless connection (if your pc has built in wi-fi) without a cable going from router to pc. I assume that most gamers are using wired connection to their pc and wireless for their phones and other devices.
Wiring is good, ports are good, permissions are good. It seems to be just this game for some reason.
I would assume that your ISP might be blocking some of the game IP addresses, but I am not sure if it happens in US that often. Happened to me in WoW and Destiny 2, I had to call ISP and they admitted it was on their end, they fixed it few days later. Try joining the guy below, maybe you were actually unlucky and kept joining people who had issues themselves?
You could also try using some VPN. I did it for Destiny 2 when ISP was blocking their addresses.
