High Voltage Kill 1000 enemies with electricity.

can you let yourself be killed on the last mission when you have cleared all the eggs? does it count or do you need to finish the mission?

It will pop as soon as you got 1000 dead or alive and dying shouldnt effect it.
But why dont you just use the Phanalax Class? the guy with the shield
he can use a eletronic blast that will kill aliens pretty fast
its effective and fun to use especially once you get it upgraded.

Electric ammo and sentries work too, I didn't farm eggs to get the achievement.

They need to change/fix this achievement, when a misc. grindy achievement has lower percentage of completion than finishing all campaigns on hardest difficulty you know it's not working properly. I'm not gonna farm eggs for 3 hours, it should work from all sources of electric damage, if a weapon uses electric damage it should count. It popped for me from just using electric rounds shortly after posting this, I did however try this once already so I don't know when and if it didn't work like that.

I think it was patched in an update to include kills from electric rounds and mines

Can this one even be unlocked? Replayed the first one multiple times and let the turret do the work and still i don't have it. a total of nearly 2000 kills with the electric turret.

Yes, it's possible. I didn't even know it was a achievement till I unlocked it. I always play as a Technician and sometimes when you throw out a Charged Coil, it'll kill enemies with low health. Or if you throw down two or three Coils, it'll kill a group of Pathogen Poppers, Facehuggers and Facehugger Eggs. I have the Charged Coil Kit Ability to reach maximum radius with all 4 Universal Modifiers "Enhanced Reach" Perks. Electroshock Sentry Guns probably helped out towards the count.
