You can. It is called AvP'99/Gold, AvP2, AvP2010 and A:CM.
The game is a Co-op horde shooter, not a team deathmatch.
Then you have to wait until someone will make another game like this.
Without it then I imagine it will probably be more like Zombie Army games, popular for a couple months or more and then dying off.
Still, in for the good time not a long one.
While not outright impossible, generally it's unlikely for things like that to be added later sadly. If they are, quite often it's done so poorly and best left alone.
Hey, maybe the game does well enough they make a sequel someday though, and get the funds to add multiplayer. We'll see.
A:Iso does not even have good gameplay mechanics to start with.
BTW this game is not a cinematic walking simulator but arcadey TPS.
