Voice chat yes/no

A friend told me it has no way to communicate. No voice or text chat at all in a coop game, is this true?

Frustrating as ♥♥♥♥, had a dude in a game earlier spamming the ♥♥♥♥ out of the ping button and there was no way for me to tell him to shut it

I was trying to help some persons who just got into the game, and couldn't explain to not like stand in blood ect. Or to look for loot. They did fine, but I still woulda' like to explain stuff. It's weird, even pokemon unite had VC noone uses it which is , kinda' bad, but at least it had it ffs. lol.

no need, why do I need to hear some random guys talking ♥♥♥♥, I use discord if I want to hear someone.

But text chat is a must! There is nothing to communitcate, thats a no go for a coop game.

I'm sure the developers were under time constraints and reasoned that everyone has a Discord or Teamspeak anyway. The thing is, those programs don't help when you're trying to play public games.

To answer your question: No. You cannot communicate with your team via either voice chat OR text. Dark Souls has better communication tools between players - that's how bad it is.

no. But if you play with friends, just set up a voice chat in Steam. Works like a charm. I usually don't want to chat with strangers when I play a game anyway. lol

Honestly i don't know why a game these days needs an integrated voice chat. If you play with randoms, they most likely won't communicate with you either, or you'll have to mute them because of blasting background music (had this issue in the Back4Blood beta).

And if you intend to play with friends...use discord, or even the old teamspeak if anyone still uses this.

As far as my expericen goes... it is very rare that anyone reads a text chat in a horde shooter.

But this is just my experience and opinion, yours may be another.
