Performance issues after update
Anyone else having SERIOUS performance issues after this latest update? I was on 80% res, everything else maxed, and got 60fps perfectly fine no matter what consistently. After this new update, I've had to drop everything as low as can go and I still get ~30fps most of the time, just looking at the NPCs in the main lobby causes stuttering suddenly.

Mostly on my end it's been lag-spikes when it's spawning lots of specific pre-placed enemies (Synths, Pathogen Crew, etc)

i did notice some fps drops here and there too. But hard to say if it was the update or the recon ability doing it
Okay, that was odd. Last time I played it was fresh after turning on my computer, so I expected everything to be just fine but it was genuinely unplayable. Restarting the game didn't fix it like I was hoping it would, but I've since restarted my computer again, and now it's back to running like a dream, with the occasional spikes from huge groupings.

Games frozen on me 3 times since the update. Each time 1-2 seconds after joining a fireteam, the game just freezes and I have to kill via task manager. On the second instance it cause my task manager to go not responsive as well for about 2-4 minutes.

I have this exact same issue and it started after the update yesterday. My FPS went down to 30 on an RTX 2080. I am running the latest Nvidia drivers, how about you guys?

I have had a lot of runners and warriors glitch. Runners fall through the floor and glitch back in front of me. Warriors run at you and then disappear and re spawn. And its been getting worse since these updates have been coming out.

The game code is an ad hoc bug riddled mess. I’ve dug through a fair bit of it at this point and it isn’t structured to take change well or smoothly, so it’s pretty likely that each time any amount of code is patched or hotfixed that some fairly noticeable bugs will crop up.

In a nut shell, the code just isn’t modular or organized well enough for even minor changes to be self contained, so any change will affect a large number of other code that it probably shouldn’t.
