Matchmaking fixed?

No. You make a game and after 40 seconds it adds bots so you have to leave and create the game again. You can spend an hour doing this on harder difficulties.

It works fine, no idea what this guys are on. The thing is, it has no quick play so you need to hit something that someone else is also using the que for. What I do is go into something, If I am alone, I try something else(different missions), takes around 1 min tops to find a game with 2 other people. Now if you que in a mission you want and expect other people to drop in that particular mission and difficulty in the span of 1 minute... Good luck with that.

This game does need a quick play option where you are put in something as fast as possible so you don't need to bother with what I am doing but aside for that, works fine.

i love how you mention it works fine but than completely contradict that in the last few sentences in your post... so it doesnt work fine is what your saying ultimately at the end.

Matchmaking is an issue for this game at this present time and needs a complete overhaul. cause at the moment its a turd reaching for flies.

Definitely not. It finds two other players, I ready for the match, there is a loading screen and and then it kicks me back to my base by myself. It takes about three or more tries until I actually get in a mission with players. Sometimes it just gets stuck on the loading screen and I never enter the mission.

Atm the matchmaking is just inconvenient, so feel free to buy and play now.

When player numbers drop in the future, it will be a problem, though.

Well i just got done playing while the steam player counts down with random people and had no problems. I now have 37 hours in and all thats been online with random people. Now if you pick random missions on higher difficulty settings then it can take longer to get a full team. But some missions seem more popular then others so your wait times can vary. You can get a full team faster with random people anytime there is a daily for beating a mission on a higher difficulty setting. What psypunk said helps and people should also make sure to always have challenge cards enabled. If you don't then you will probably never get a full team. Also challenge cards turn off everytime you go into horde mode for some reason.

I contradicted nothing. It get's me into a game in labout 1 minute. What I ended with, it could use more features but what it has works. A quick join or quick play would be an added feature.

Matchmaking does work, it's just a matter of actually having people looking for a public mission in the same difficulty and on the same mission within that 50 second window; they should add a quick match based only on difficulty, maybe with checkboxes for which mission you do/don't want to speed up matchmaking because it's a poor matchmaking system, but it works just as intended.

Lots of crashes and infinite loading screen tho it's very unstable on top of being ass for not having a search function like you said. The game will die on PC as soon as the game pop start dwindling.
