4 player co op bug?

Played with a friend of mine and then TWO other people joined, is this a new change or has anyone else ran into this bug? assuming it's a bug.

Weird bug and it's obvious the game is NOT balanced for 4 players

I think 4 players might actually make it a little crowded. Also, considering the xp system, no one would want to hold in the back or cover flanks while 1 or 2 people do the majority of the shooting.

Agreed. 3 players works pretty well. I'm sure they tested with 4 but most likely they came to the same conclusion. Enemies would need a buff.

I would actually like to be able to customize Alpha and Beta with at least a generic class archetype and their appearance. I think that is my biggest annoyance is that I would rather have actual marines with me, not the synthetics.

Probably something happening host side that is expanding the player slots. Maybe a cheat, a hack or a mod or something.

I even had it once that some one was playing Hoenikker. Maybe they will turn it into a MMO without voice or text chat. Only thing you can do in the MMO is just sitting around inside the Endeavor because you can't join matches. You can always admire Esthers hair.

Had it happen to me once in a random group that I queued for alone. Never had it happen since, but it made things extremely easy.

Imagine needing to kill 400 enemies without sharing kills with three randoms everytime.
