how to start

So i just got this game 2 days ago and it will not run, i am also reading there are a few issues with steam link and quest 3.

I have looked at the openxr article but i cant follow since i cant find the openxr runtime category.

I kinda think the issue is related to steam link since other games were working before steam link released, such as saints and sinners, but now that game wont launch either, so I tested Creed also, and they have the same crashes occuring.

So I start up my Quest 3, enable steam link, which loads me to the steam VR Home room and launch my games from there, most games crash with a report that's the same each time, but I always end up back in the VR Home Room after the crash. This game is projecting part of my VR body to my flat screen even after the crash gets cleared. Oddly I can run a few VR titles such as Arizona Sunshine.

Any help would be appreciated, I figure just start with this game and should be easy enough to fix the others...

Hey! Glad to hear you figured it out :) Did you end up using SteamVR or without? The game runs a lot better if you play it without SteamVR, at least with Quest 2/3. If you want, I can help you out more in the discord! Happy hunting and let me know what you think of the game!

When I understand it a bit better, I will post my results, but as of now, I am not using steam link, and I am still running tethered via the old occulus software. So atm to launch I have to follow these steps.

Launch quest 3, launch quest link, launch occulus software, launch any pcvr or steam vr game and they will run. Saints and Sinners, HLA, Creed, Virtual Hunter, they all launch and work well.

I haven't tried to go untethered, but I will some time today.

Also on a side note, got my first Kill(a rabbit), shortly after almost being trampled by a horde of Boars, and I am enjoying the game so far, stupid pheasant wouldnt sit still for me...
