Relics are those floating things that give extra stats and have their own skills.
Ah the combat pets? Haven't paid much attention to that yet haha (takes a lot of food to make it functional), cheers.
Charms, yeah I just keep synth'ing them over and over and stockpile the highest tier ones I can, but they're starting to stack up in my stash a bit. If you don't already have alts in the other two free slots you should make toons to mule the excess stuff :)
Most charms are crap and they're pretty common though so just sell them for measly gold to get rid of them if you need space.
There is "Charm Rare Upgrade Essence (for Magic > Rare)" and also Legendary Essence (for Rare to Leg.), but I have not gotten them yet - I just see them in the Essence Stash tab. I've not seen them drop yet but I'm at like Chaos Stone level 3 and can't go any further. Maybe the flirty Ore Vendor girl sells them though, haven't checked.
It doesn't take much to keep them around unless you're playing 10+ hours a day and they recharge all their energy overnight, so you can play all day while using those and when you wake up the next day they are completely full again.
They are well worth the effort of using considering what they can offer, you can go with passive stats that give resist depending on which relic you use (Each one has their own element along with their own element resist although i'm not sure if there's a relic based on chaos with chaos resist).. They also have damage increase perks that are active when you have them active but those damage increase perks/stats are for the relic itself if i'm correct... Each and every relic has 3 different skills with their own sub bonusses that you can pick from.
And no, you don't have to dump money into them to keep em around.. You can use ingame gold to fill them up if you want to.
Oh yeah, I mean I wasn't ignoring them - just been saving up Light because I was told it takes a lot of XP to make them decent. So yeah I picked one and gave it all my Light, it gained a whole 1 level haha. But yes Level 3 will give me Lightning Orb which looks great, that will surely help (doing a Tier 1 dungeon still takes me 15-20 minutes to clear, its not hard I just have average DPS heh).
Cheers, I'm enjoying the end-game so far. I tell you what though, the Ice Bull Trial boss for statue level 3 makes the Act 10 boss look like a gentle puppy xD this game is tough, its good fun.
Anyway, back on topic... Charms :)
Yeah dont waste ID scrolls on them unless it DEFINITELY looks like something you might want or can actually use. Good tip.
