Still Malware/Spyware rootkit?
Does the game still install a rootkit thats extremely difficult to remove? Or do we have an option to opt out of this or not? Would love to try the game but not going to install the rootkit

There is a uninstaller for the anti cheat yes, the stories about it being extremely unsafe are a bit overblown/dragged out by now..

Yes, the rootkit anti-cheat is still present in the game.

The uninstaller for the rootkit can be found in a previous status/game update news (October 2022) on steam. In the description there is a link to a program that can be used to manually remove it from your system. https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1549250/view/6456498378615365698

Considering how hard a new user still have to know about it and search for the removal tool, it is still considered "difficult to remove". :steamsad:
