Rare Status Afflict Chaos Cards

What do you do with these if your build doesn't do enough effects?

Seems kind of bad design, I have 3 characters, and they all apply status. However on my fireball I can't complete the missions because he one shots the majority of mobs, and aoe kills the rest. 100% full clear and ill be at like 50/150 and my burn chance is over 40%. But regardless i just blast through the maps. legendary and uniques are the only chaos cards to be concerned with.
