Act 10 final boss is actually retarded

You can't pay to gain levels or get any exclusive gear, and you can't buy anything to compensate for lack of skill.

Also if you're using a mouse, get a gamepad. Using a mouse in this game is only good if you're a 100% STR build that can just stand there and rarely dodge.

Also make sure you have some DoT for the shield. You basically NEED DoT in this game, the previous boss(es) with the same energy shield mechanic should have made this obvious.

It's over tuned, but anyone with a brain can figure it out. Cap your resistances, level up more, craft better gear, easy win.

1. You can buy 99.9% of all items in this game, directly or indirectly. So stop saying its not p2w/progress. Do you need to? Of course not. Now onto ACT 10 info. Keep in mind guys saying" get dot build" are probably suggesting toxic flame build, massive early game scaling, you dont need crit or +hit items. You can maintain max DOT stacks with a single cast every 5 seconds. Its a reason the leader boards were flooded with this build. Its early game cheese mode. Allowing you to beat bosses 10-15 levels above you without any hit%. Toxic flame builds also allow you to keep maximum dps up while 100% mobile. If you can't beat the dps check (shield/laster beam phase) Its a wipe. So no skill in the world will compensate for your builds lack of dps. You can bypass these wipes with resurrect scrolls. Given through events, or clearly p2w being sold and used in unlimited amounts (on act 10 boss)for .50cents each. Get 75% chaos resist via gear/potions, other resists wont matter on this fight. Then work at leveling/gearing until you can smash the dps check. The rest is just practice/learning mechanics.

Save 10 resurrect scrolls, use DoT build, use +20 Chaos resist elixir.

Don't use the scrolls right away, allow the DoT to do damage, then resurrect. Use move / jump abilities - at least two - and jump any moment you see anything is moving / happening on the screen (somehow it allow to avoid some damage and healing bottles to heal over time while you jump)

(actually you don't need 10 scrolls, that's just in case of extremely unlucky fight)

note: I didn't even use max available healing potions, 840hp variant was enough.

For me the last boss was the easiest boss of the whole act. The first boss of act 10 pissed me off far more ^^.

Res scrolls are actually just for maps and Void Rifts activities (end game) and that's if you wanna hardcore mapping. Void Rifts is only situational when you reach the x3 bosses in the same map and you die when the last boss kills you and the boss has like 5 hits left to die. I've only used like 6 scrolls or 7 in a month+ of playing the game. I still have like 40 left and you can get 1 per day from the playtime rewards, and a lot more from the Chaos Statue dailies.

You can buy res scrolls with rubies and you get rubies from selling stuff in the AH. Stop crying.

This. If you feel the NEED to spend REAL money to get res scrolls, you are just trash. Cash shop is there for the 1% of people that have heaps of cash and no free time to grind endlessly like the rest of us nerds. Also how does it hurt you? If I'm playing co-op with some trash bot player and they keep dying, I'd rather they spend $$$$ to resurrect and keep helping ME then to die within 1 minute and leave the party, making it hard for the rest of us.

I've also found that using res scrolls during the main story boss fights is a REALLY BAD IDEA. You're better off just starting again from temp. waypoint, so you actually have a chance to re-enable your seals/toggles/whatever. Unless you're using no seals/toggles like a noob :p I only use them maybe if the guy is riiiiight down on health and I've already spent 10 minutes getting him there.... but it rarely ends at using just one scroll xD so I generally avoid it. if I can't easily kill a boss, then I go work on my build for 1 or 2 more levels. Literally 1 level can mean the difference between "this boss is impossible" vs "this boss was too ez", what with the Zodiac traits.

I used some here and there during the campaign but only when the boss was like at the last bit of his hp, overall it's indeed not worth it using those scrolls otherwise.

I also kept using damage elixirs whenever i had the option to get those, they are especially good for the final boss if you lack damage.. And yeah, 1 level can make a difference in a fight.
