Banned for using a mouse cursor visibility program (or maybe not)

So I was struggling with seeing my cursor in-game when there were a lot of affects flying around the screen. I lost my cursor and couldn't aim my skills properly and would often miss entirely. So I found a program that change your cursor to a bright color and makes it huge. This helped a lot.

The next morning, I'm banned from the game. So no question that it was flagged as a cheat.

Is it what it is. The ban is for 1 week. I just wanted to warn people to not do the same thing I did.

I'll either need to find some other solution or just give up.

EDIT: I see a lot of people have been banned for unknown reasons, and are speculating that it's related to selling stuff on the auction house? I also had a few unique items get sold recently and one of them went for a few hundred.

Now I don't know what the reason is... ugh. I'll contact them and see if they will tell me.
