1. I'm only concerned about heavy P2W system as far as PVP goes, idc how "P2W" a game is, if it's PVE focused, and since you don't play PvP there, it's still uncertain how heavily P2W this game is
2. Undecember is an ARPG (on PC) which is also available on Mobile. Diablo Immortal is also available on PC despite being a mobile game first, it doesn't mean Undecember will be "less" P2W than DI because it's originally a PC game, sadly
3. Some ppl who have played before (and some are real Koreans) stated that this is a P2W game, and knowing some Korean games before, I'm pretty sure this is also a P2W game, I just hope they don't lock legendary gears/gems/drop rates behind a purchase only crests or sth
I'm looking forward to playing this game when it comes to steam, I kinda wish its paid contents are only cosmetics or some sort
You need also a currency that is behind real money to buy from others in auction house , but you still can sell loots to others as a F2P player and get the currency.
But probably better than DI.
if it's only like what all of you describe, then I consider it "mild" P2W (acceptable)
Well i cant say so much about it and i understand youre concerns. I am also still concerned. But i think there are fifty shades of p2w and i can live with pay to progress faster or at least p2w that matter mainly in pvp. The Game has the typical asian rng, an i guess you can pay a lot to roll out the bis stuff. but maybe you can gamble out cool ♥♥♥♥ with some luck an a little more playtim. than the p2w would not be so overwealming. but we will see...
This game beats Diablo Immortal into oblivion. Immortal is a literal casino with a trash game attached. It doesn't even have extensive skill customization, or similar skill runes like diablo 3.
Immortal is the most trashiest game ever made, with extremely low amount of content at release. As well as the only way to get stronger is to pay real money.
This game has similar structure to Path Of Exile.
Skill gem system, where instead of linking them on the gear you have a hex grid.
Better loot and stat randomization, items have so many item stats.
But at the same time a lot of crafting currency just like path of exile. Each one has different usages, from reroll random stats on items to upgrading low rarities into higher ones.
Has a lot of content at release.
Monetization, the only thing i've seen thats pay to win is being able to select the stats you want to roll on an item. That's about it.
You can pay for more stash space as well as the currency and crafting tab.
Nothing on the scale of the sh!tty Diablo Immortal is doing.
You don't pay to get the strongest gear in the game.
You can get every type of loot drop just playing the game.
