Had to wait out a few minutes to write thsi review because I cleared the whole game in about three and a half minutes. For 99 cents you could buy a single roll of toilet paper and turn yourself into a mummy and have more fun cleaning up the resulting mess rather than playing this game.

Wow! Finally, the developers have learned how to make more interesting and diverse platformers. The game was completed in half an hour. I was satisfied.

Viking Story is a "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template from Construct 2, changing a few things, then dumping the barely functional "product" on Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. In this case it was the Construct 2 template for doing a simple retro platformer game. Dozens of "games" have been dumped on Steam using the same template, and it's terrible.

Construct 2 is a very poor quality game construction kit, and results in terrible games like this one.

No professional effort was made in terms of game development, using a game construction kit requires no game development talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It's almost as bad as an outright asset flip.

This is nothing but a lazy, greedy cash grab and should be avoided.
