Wasn't insulting you, like you chose to do me, It's easier on the reader than reading a wall of text. Anyway, enjoy your day!
BTW, I don't really play WoR hardly at all anymore. So not really the clan boi...Game is very repetitive with a abhorrent development time.
Yes some things about this game are starting to get cheesy and cringe. In the Marine Corps we called stuff like this "Going Motto." When someone is over excited about Marine Corps history. Goes around glorifying and romanticizing Marine Corps life and stories. This game gives me history nerd vides. Heavy propaganda vibes.
About Marines screaming "hell yeah!," I did that irl
The ripped pants thing also happened to me during Marjah battles. A few of us had ripped pants down our leg and our underwear was showing. But it was from wear and tear. Not bullets and shrapnel tearing our pants. That is what I mean about this game getting cheesy. Its stories are becoming hyperbole.
I totally get it. I'll still play and enjoy this game too.
I used to play First to Fight. I had the official USMC version for PC and the civilian XBox version.

The game was bad and cheesy. I still played the hell out of it.
the developers are focusing the whole team on the most beautiful, new, graphic intros instead of emphasizing gameplay. So far no possibility to include weapons, let alone implement slot selection..... Thanks for that
I remember sitting and watching my guys play First to Fight on Xbox at the MWR in Kuwait waiting to fly up north and do it irl. Good times.
I get PTSD playing this game and I never served.
the game is decent, but I would call it more like COD for adults.
The number of enemies for 4 man squad is ridiculous and straight up from fantasy land.
Spawning enemies in areas you just cleared is also very stupid and frustrating at the same time.
I think it has massive potential thanks to variety of environments, day times, sandstorms etc...
I would highly reduce number of enemies so it is actually tactical game and not shooting gallery.
Movement needs some tweaking. It just feels weird. I don't want to speed it up. I just want it to be more natural and fluid.
And AI still needs a lot of work.
But the game made a massive progress. When I played it first time it was just absolute pile ...
Now I found it somewhat enjoyable. Ran through all missions in campaign and it was fine.
But I will replay the game only after another major update. In current state there is not really anything to offer to play it over RoN.
No, I'm not kidding.
Tactical shooters are Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Brothers in Arms, originally coined by Tom Clancy with fully implemented Squad AI in a First Person Shooter in 1998's Rainbow Six.
Milsims are Operation Flashpoint, ARMA series, where it's considerably more slower paced and the maps are wayyy bigger than the ones in standard tactical shooters.
The terms have been so disjointed and misnamed by players over the years it's actually insulting, same with the idiotic "Immersive sim" term.
