It was cool when I thought it was random and whatnot. But I got lasered by an AI who came into my line of sight while I was hiding in a corner inside a building in complete darkness. He walked into my line of sight about 60 meters away from the doorway I was looking at, while walking AND hipfiring, he instantly turned towards me and killed me. It was kinda ridiculous. I tried to come up with a real world scenario where this might be possible, but nope.
There is no possible way he knew I was there, and he damn sure shouldnt have instantly turned towards me. He shot AS he turned, literally aimbot. Haha. Just fix that please.
I agree, took a break to try out the new Squad ZEUS editor with AI. Downloaded a Fallujah map and have been making my own scenarios. The AI is basic, but seems "better" and more fun. Only thing I miss is playing with actual human partners lol.
Oh okay it's a mod, I see what you mean
There is going to be a patch coming up either this week or next, lets see if they work to fix it.
If you have your Flashlight on, the enemies sees it, they tend to pre-aim corners and whatnot casue they spotted you!
Also they can hear you when you talk VoiP!
Not that I think people are lying, but maybe your reaction times aren't up for a game like this, and there's nothing wrong to admit about that. There are several games I won't even bother playing competitively any more because I'm just getting too old like CSGO, League etc.
I have never seen this "aimbot" happen in 70 wins. They do weird things sometimes, and even run straight into a wall when you're right beside them. Aimbot is not something I have ever encountered. Please don't take this as if I see the AI as infallible; in fact, I know they have a long way to go.
This is a prime example as well - every thread I see you post it's a complaint about something wrong, you don't like, or needs changed for you to "return". Common denominator is in the rest of your post; three games did it wrong, or you're wrong for the three games?
Well said.
Are they trying to make the game realistic? Yes
Were the towlies they were fighting better trained and better aims then US Marines and John Wick? No.
I walked up against a wall once with a window that had a curtain covering it, as soon as I poppped infront of that window I was laser beamed. Not exactly a reslitic depiction of what happened out there.
If the jihads were as good in real life like they are in this game, not a single american soldier would have survived.
It needs adjusting.
Given how often I've been lucky to survive encounters where the enemy got the jump on me, I'm not gonna make the claim they are cheating just yet. My only complaints about the AI so far are that they sometimes simply stand idle (glitch?) and their running around mindlessly is obviously a bit immersion breaking.
They do engage when they don't have line of sight, but always due to a player making a noise/giving away visual info.
They prefire corners and buildings because they know you are coming from YOUR mistakes. E.g, moving too fast, flashing a light around a corner, talking etc etc.
On the other end, i've seen the AI do some immensely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ before.
When I can walk out into the open and it takes a PKM gunner 10 seconds to hit me from 20 metres, I cannot see a valid reason to call AI aimbot.
