Why do they always make CO-OP 4 Players
Can a DEV please answer this for me, Me and my friends love to play this sort of game BUT like most other game its only 4 player co-op. This sort of game you should of made it like team of up to 8 least that way you have a good size squad. Maybe you could put this into the game while it is still in the making a bit.

Think that it would be more people buying it if could do 8 player co-op or even like Arma where you can have loads of friends in your squad, Be lot more realistic.

Thanks to any DEV that reply's to this for me be very helpful.

I'm sure it's related to P2P connections or something similar, or maybe the fact we just re-purpose old engines from 20 years ago in many products.

It's the same question like why were FPS games always limited to 64 players? They were only that way until modders came in to change it.

4-Player is the magic number because it's usually the maximum input allowed on consoles. Why it was incorporated in this PC exclusive has more to do with something like the engine they're using. Or maybe market research indicates that 4-player coop is the ideal option with players. There's many factors that play into a decision like that so it's hard to say for sure.

From experience I would say it's the limit of randoms who have to communicate to each other A LOT and coordinate movements.

If - at a later time - they implement another fireteam, these can communicate via radio to each other, while the teammembers coordinate by voice and gestures.

Would love to experience that, was amazing in ArmA.

If the names of our mates actually appeared when we needed them to it wouldn't be that annoying to figure it out.

If you can EASILY and RAPIDLY id people on the spot, including who is talking and have radio channels for squad leads it's isn't that hard to manage.

At the moment it's like hey you in front of me and 3 people turn around. Names don't appear when you bring up the HUD either.

We'd like to expand fireteam sizes, but this isn't planned until much farther down the road.

I think two 4-man fireteams would be way cooler than just expanding team size
