game ai just does a wierd side back step when they get hit, u shoot at the enemy from a distance nothing happens, they shoot and hit you when their guns not even pointing at you, i had high hopes for this game now im not recommending it to anyone till it gets a way better and bigger update like this ♥♥♥♥ makes no sense and iv gotten ppl to buy it from watching my past streams this is really brutal please work on the enemy ai and game quality oh and worst is the team Ai always cutting you off and going in front of you barrel lmao ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb its 2025 still no good games with ai just pure poo im mad cause i love this game but wont be playing till ♥♥♥♥ gets done

About the enemy not getting dropped with one shot, marines interviews:

"On the second day of the fight, word came down to focus on head shots, that body shots were not good enough," said 1st Lt. Tim Strabbing, a platoon leader with the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, one of lead units in the assault to oust the insurgents. The battalion, known as the Thundering Third, suffered 23 dead and 300 wounded.

Strabbing said his platoon found five locations with stockpiles of needles and adrenaline. "My guys put five (machine gun) rounds into a guy who just stood there and took it and then took off running," he said.

Stimulants can allow the body to continue functioning despite mortal wounds, momentarily forestalling, although not preventing, death, medical experts say.

Many combat veterans recall watching insurgents in Fallujah who had been shot at close range return fire and hurl grenades at Marines who stormed their strongholds.

"We actually shot four or five guys multiple times and they got up and moved across the room," said corpsman Quinton Brown, who had accompanied a front-line platoon to treat wounded Marines.

About the team AI , how about give the devs some time as it has just been implemented?

not saying they should drop one shoot im saying its broken the way it is at the moment like i mentioned i love this game so frustrating when it not working and all slow like the last level is laggy as hell its that mission where u have to shoot the snipers, mission is bugged i just cant wait for more improvements i understand some take more shots too nothing wrong with that but juts how the ai react idk i stream it so can see on my stream what i mean https://www.twitch.tv/mydaaddyy i have 189 hours on the game trust me i can tell and see when its just not working in the end its just a game still pumped on what it will become just sad still no full campaign and i mainly hope they take veterans stories and make a wicked campaign from that no hate just dam man... but cheers to some improvements!! and Thank you to Everyone who served during that hellish time.

This game's issue with AI is that it still doesn't have any form of long term reaction or lethal injury system for AI when shot or injured, they have a health bar you can't see and that's it. They'll still run, crawl, jump, and duck all while returning fire after tanking shots, not to mention the horrible damage drop off with pistols and shotguns exacerbate this problem.

I think the main misconception with realism in this game is that is a pure tactical shooter in the vein of Rainbow Six and less of a mil-sim (some may disagree).
A lot of the issues this game has with it's criticisms of realism is that it really "gamifies" a lot of squad roles and the lethality of weapons at range. I'm sure this was a deliberate design choice to force cqb and to extend the length of firefights outside of buildings, but it feels incredibly unnatural juxtaposed to true to life setting of this game.

I do agree there should be a bleed mechanic in the game. If an enemy takes 2-3 shots and doesn't go down now, he surely should bleed out sooner or later.

no nerve struck, Just thought to point out that you said " use a period every now & then etc... " but you have 11,000 hours in fallout 4 so reading without a period for you none the less should be easy
This Game is something i cant get behind. It wants to be super Realistic, but also wants to tell a Story. And there is no free Movement, you have to that command and get in this Position. Just to get shot at and heal yourself three times and get lucky to see a ISIS fighter while they see you through Walls. The AI Teams are dumb as ♥♥♥♥ if you not give the correct order that the game wants. There is no creative Aspect of being a Strategist, no flanking if the game does not want it. This is just a failed Game
Also the Brothers in Arms are just NPC. I dont care about anyone of them. Let me help them, do First Aid, grab them and tow them in a safe spot. Like they do with me. But no, i get shot, maybe i can help myself, have to wait for these Dumbnumms to go to help me while most of the time they get shot aswell because they dont drag me in safety first.

It's just a Developer that wants to build something realistic while telling a Hollywood Movie Story about War and nothing mattters.
go see Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood, a Game from 2008. That did the Squad Feeling right, you had People which had Names, you felt truly about their security, you wanted everyone alive and you crawled through the levels, using cover and flanking and ♥♥♥♥ so nobody on your team dies. You got shot at, but it was always believebal and a Error of your own Strategy.
