Why only 4 fireteam members?

I feel like there should be atleast 6 fireteam members maybe not 4 I feel like 4 is a little too small to be realistic and i really doubt back then they breached buildings in fallujah with only 4 man teams.

Who cares about realism? Fireteam has 4 members because 4 player co-op.

what would be dope maybe is if you get it up to a legit squad of 13. mad realistic. might even help induce its own friction. (realism added) i got quite a few friends wanting all to play

Yeah I’ll be buying the game for myself along with my cousin who’s new to pc gaming but has had his eye on this game and my best friend and along with another friend of mine. But I got more people that wanna play so I was atleast thinking maybe 5 or 6 team members rather than like 4 maybe itll be in the double digits if they ever up the map sizes but for now it’s gotta be atleast 5 or 6 for sure.

4 man fireteams are the standard of the marine corps. That's a perfect depiction of the tactics currently in use by them, though there are multiple fireteams in a platoon. That could be a good way to boost the total player count without hurting any realism

I mean another reason why I said this is because theres many groups that wanna play but cant run everyone in it since theres only 4 slots. Again I got more than 4 friends who are getting the game and plan to play with.

Most people don't have 5 other friends to play the exact same game with. You are not the norm. Games are not made specifically with you and your friends in mind.

4 man fire team would be used to clear a house maybe but a whole block like in the game would be at least the full squad, more likely a platoon

Think 8 person co - op would be ideal

Idk I think you’d be surprised with how many people have more than 3 friends to play with and nor did I ever said the games are specifically made for me?? Idk why the slight hostility no need for it. And again you’d be surprised from people coming from arma 3 and RoN or Squad a lot of them do have over 3 friends or Milsim people playing together in which that’s the playerbase this game attracts. And let’s be real here to clear a whole block I really don’t think they’re sending in a fireteam that requires atleast a squad.

Pretty sure its 4 people its based off the actual story where their fireteam started with 12 but by the end they left with only 4.

Sad, but the most common observation I see is gross examples of 'insatiable' demands when I read the Steam forums. Seems like even the perfect game would be found with fault by some.
