i can't stand games that overdo this. a weapon can be fired literally hundreds of times before it will even really start to jam except in extreme cases.
edit: unless you mean VISUALLY which is already represented

you know guns are made to be used under stress right? especially ours. even AKs are known for being robust and rugged. i own ar15s, aks, ww2 bolt actions (several as a matter of fact), shotguns, handguns, etc. they are all much more robust than people believe from just playing video games
i know this because i have personally stress tested some (mud, dirt, sand) and have been shooting/maintaining/etc for years and years. likely longer than some here have been alive
and trust me, weapon maintenance is important in the military. multiple relatives told me that and one of them is his company's armorer. they clean and maintain them so they DON'T need to clean them during combat. that's ridiculous.
we do not need to take apart and clean our weapons on the field. that is beyond asinine
