Enemies are bullet sponges that take 100 bullets to kill
More often than not my experience is: see enemy first, shoot at them first, but die first. Because unloading a ton of bullets into them don't even stagger them.

Devs, can you please fix this or at least allow to an easier enemy setting? Thanks.

Are you aiming or just point firing? Cause I kill them with one shot to the head everytime

Alpheus,
It was an old topic/issue, complaint... some 8 months ago ?

2 different issues:
- why "Insurgents" with direct 3 hits: in chest / stomach / shoulders - are not "tango down" ?
- why they do not calm down, faint and bleed out somewhere - but continue running, jumping and shooting till the end of mission ?

( surprise, surprise... ignorred by devs. ) Give it up Alpheus !

I am seeing different behaviours. Some of them die from a single shot, as mentioned previously, headshots.
Others require more shots. Maybe the damage is not enough, they wear some kind of armour or they are high on drugs or adrenaline. It´s unknown to me if, once wounded, things like stamina reduction or not being able to run happens to them.
I like the randomness of that, makes sense with books where first person witness share their stories.

Bullets required to kill enemies varies, as some were hopped on adrenaline based on the stories we've been told.

I'll make a note to the team about sponginess.

Interesting, I wasn't aware it was tied to actual stories. I appreciate the response and taking a note!

So what ? ...after 3 hits from NATO assault rifle in chest and stomach, they must calm down
..., drop down somewhere in a 10-15 seconds... faint, bleeding out helpless... certainly not "jump arround" for half an hour, at another part of map - continue combat shooting from another buildings, ruins ???

AmperCamper, you will get Nobel prize for astonishing new medicine of human anatomy !

Those shots aren’t absolutes. I’ve seen guys on multiple occasions take multiple shots of 5.56 and continue fighting as nothing happened. I once had one of my SAW gunners engage a guy less than 100m away with several center mass hits. Guy walked off and we never found him. Green tip 5.56 is a hole puncher and does very little hydrostatic damage to internals. Shoot them to the ground.

Ragged Old Flag,
They certainly did not continue fighting 10-20 min. later - from another part of Falujjah !
Still moving is not = jumping over ruins 20 min later ?
You never found him - dos not mean he was aiming and shooting from another roof top later...

I’ve seen it personally and yes ppl can continue the fight. It’s an absolute possibility. With that said I do wish they would add some form of injury/wounding mechanic for the insurgents but to say a fighter was hit x times center mass is always a kill as an absolute should be a no.

Then, whole game should be cancelled - fighting against moving "send bags" is pointless !

2 to the chest and 1 to the head is the standard they teach for the m16. Like Ragged said, the 5.56 nato round is a hole puncher. It's a glorified .22 whereas the ak47 shoots a 7.62x39, a much larger round. I don't really have an issue with the majority of the enemies when using 2 to the chest and 1 to the head. Only sometimes do I have to dump a couple more rounds into insurgents.

I fought hopped up taliban terrorists. Yes it's true that they do impressive things but they don't last long. They just escape contact very well and bleed out somewhere. You guys really need to stop defending the bullet sponge AI with the captagon/adrenaline facts.

We would clear every compound and building that got used to attack us. We found our guys. The only one that got away was found 30 minutes later being pushed in a wheelbarrow by a friend.

They can take shots like Tony Montana and dissappear faster than a bat out of hell. But they don't last long.

Bro I have no experience with the Taliban but the AQI fighters were so good at immediate casevac…on more than one occasion saw guys pop up out of nowhere in engagement, scooped a downed fighter up into a fireman’s carry and sprint out of there like an Olympian while dodging bullets…it was impressive when it happened. Definitely appeared to be a rehearsed battle drill.
