Me and a friend have been playing Objective Virginia for a while now trying to clear the mission, though every time we reach the IED part we just fail. When we discover what looks like an IED we cannot interact with it. There is no sound nor visual indicator that it is an active explosive or anything

Theres spotters in the houses left and right along the alleyway. Kill the spotters, explosives go inop. Tough to find sometimes tho.

You have to mark the walls next to the suspicious object. Spot the object, then head towards the wall left or right of it and you can mark the IED.

It should be noted you can’t actually disarm the roadside IED.

Correct, try shifting focus next to the IEDS and you'll be able to mark the walls.

What does marking the IED actually achieve? Seems like the tank gets hit by it anyway

At this point, nothing. The devs are working on a fix. Best bet for now is to move along the outside of the alley where the houses are to clear them first. Sometimes the tank will stay put as long as you don't walk in the main alley that the tank drives through. 50/50 though.

without marking, the AAV doesn´t move forward

I’ve had the AAV freely move forward without marking before.
