I got trained on this aiming style and used it irl. Neither is realistic. They are both historically and tactically accurate. They are both full or realism issues.
Atleast the old aiming style didn't play like hipfire.
Disable crosshair in the options and use the flashlight to point the shoots, Much more intense then old aim.
i cant even begin to understand the new point aiming with the ACOG
When using that aiming style irl at a range longer than it's really intended for the bullet lands higher than the aiming point. The old aiming style was correct but kept the bullet trajectory straight at long range and that specific detail was not realistic. The aiming style was used correctly for close range (Indoors).
The new aiming style is trying to show the correct bullet trajectory but it uses the aiming style wrong at close range.(Indoors)
