I dont understand this new point aim system, it feels horrible
on release the point aim was perfect imo, you had no need for a crosshair
now its just some next level bs where my rounds seem to fly upwards?
why create the need for a crosshair in a game thats about telling a story and creating immersion? i dont understand it, it feels impossible to point aim with this new system

not to mention point aiming with an acog? it looks awful and makes it horrible to aim
just an edit here, do something about this please, the acog is horrible to aim with now, it feels useless to even have now when point aiming

the game should not need a crosshair its not cod

Atleast you agree that you don't understand it. Old system was false in many aspect's, in training and bullet physics. Either you don't want to learn it or it's a skill issue.

The new system gets it wrong as well. The aiming style is meant for close range.(Indoors) The original aiming style got that correct. But when players used it for long range engagements it wasn't realistic and too accurate. It's not meant for longer ranges.

I got trained on this aiming style and used it irl. Neither is realistic. They are both historically and tactically accurate. They are both full or realism issues.

Atleast the old aiming style didn't play like hipfire.

Agreed

No, the new aiming with crosshair is perfect for MOUT. It makes it intuitive and easy to make quick shots in close encounters, while requiring iron sights further down range. Old one was pretty good in point shooting, but made iron sights irrelevant.

They are going backwards on immersion with these updates. Bring back the old aim.

Disable crosshair in the options and use the flashlight to point the shoots, Much more intense then old aim.

I disagree.

Please bring back the old aim, at least as an option...

When using that aiming style irl at a range longer than it's really intended for the bullet lands higher than the aiming point. The old aiming style was correct but kept the bullet trajectory straight at long range and that specific detail was not realistic. The aiming style was used correctly for close range (Indoors).

The new aiming style is trying to show the correct bullet trajectory but it uses the aiming style wrong at close range.(Indoors)

And here we are weeks later with people still complaining. Is anything going to be done? IE option to change?

The current version is how I was trained to point shoot using only muscle memory and no aiming reference. In my experience this is correct, the old was incorrect.
