TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE

This game has always had it's issues but I've always overlooked them because I wanted to support the team. Whatever has been done in the last 2 patches has made the game extremely sluggish.

The team is working on getting to 1.0 but right now the state of the game is unplayable. I can stomach maybe 2 matches each time I play because the performance is that bad. It has issues registering your inputs and so man times as of late anytime you zoom in to fire you suffer a huge frame drop. The game right now is choppy like you are playing a slide show. Something has gotta be done because the game has been like this for a month.

I really do love the game and what it's trying to do but there is no reason to play this game in the state it is now. You can't even recommend other people to play this game right now because of the bugs and performance. Well you can, however, if you ever want them to come back to play the game either the game has to dramatically improve now or as we are all doing just wait for the performance of the game to improve. I am worried though with the team pushing as hard as they can they'll just focus on getting to 1.0 and try to deal with bugs after the fact then.

Also to the trolls that are bound to say it's my PC I run a 3070 with i7-13700k so it isn't bottle-necked by hardware.

The 3070 isn't powerful at all. I had a 3070Ti and was very disappointed in its performance, so I build a new rig around the 4090. So, yea, its you.

Not really.
It's beyond the "recommended" specs for the game. That SHOULD mean that you can run the game maxed out and it should still run smoothly at least. It doesn't, as there is LOTS of input lag in the game. This game is very poorly optimized, and could use some serious code clean-up... Sure, if you throw a WAY overpowered system at it and you won't notice or even care, but I for one will NOT be burning cash on a new gaming rig for this game.

I haven't ran the game much, but It runs good on RX7800xt on linux, using steam proton, didn't even have to tinker with it. I have several windows games that run choppy on windows, but run better on steam-linux-proton. It translates DirectX into vulkan APi for rendering. maybe it's the translation that can smooth things out in some cases? So if you want to experiment try it out. You might get more stability and more FPS. also some cheap upgrades can make a big difference, OC ram with XMP profile, nvme drive, or at least SATA SSD, make sure dust is blown out of your coolers, ect.

actually the 4090 it´s not powerful enough, got one and was very disappointed in its performance, so I build a new rig around the 9090TI super. So, yea, its you.


Now in a more serious tone, ran the game pretty good on a 3060ti at launch, maybe they f´d up in some of the last patches? anyway, expected....game is still early access

I also noticed worse performance this week and past.
RTX2080Ti, but the model doesn´t matter, because game simply performed way better since I bought last August.

You mean keep spending my hard earned money because I own a home and dont live with my parents, STILL? That kind of consumer? Devs have no reserve to cater to old hardware, nor should they. And yes, the 3070 is OLDDDD.
