The flashlight is ON (all settings on ultra)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3045694448
The issue seems to be happening only on some buildings and is dependent on the amount of dust present in the room. I took the screenshot after my friend (who played the game for the first time last night) pointed out how the flashlight was useless in that room. It's not exactly blinding, tho, but quite the opposite.
I would need to try again for night and sandstorm and report back on that.
I'm on a Ryzen 5 1600 and RX 6700 XT, my friend was on a Ryzen 7 (don't know what series) and a 2060 super. His settings were the High default settings the game comes with.
I can't see any other way of tracking down if this is a game issue, driver issue, settings used problem or a specific GPU/model issue. We do need a default test building that will not change in one part of a map or a test area.
My screen can be exactly the same in certain buildings as what Lukasoss posted yet my friends when I spectate are not even using a flashlight!
I feel like I need a guide dog and a white stick when I breach certain buildings yet friends are not having an issue.
2~4h a day since the update, Never happened with me or any friend. 3070TI, updated drivers, settings mixed. Windows 11.
Just to clarify, i'm not saying this is not a issue, It's just a feedback to devs know that it's not happening with everyone.
