Tips for a newb
Hey all,

I just picked this game up and did the training or solo que and it's ridiculously difficult solo. I imagine people that have been playing are pretty decent at this game by now. Any general tips for someone with no experience coming in to contribute, I haven't tried a proper match yet and I will only be able to play with randoms since no one I know has this game. I was thinking I would just kinda tag along and follow the leader for awhile until I get the hang of the mechanics. Thanks

Welcome aboard !!. It really depends who you play with. I played with mature players who communicated from start to finish, and know what they're doing. I also played with not so mature players that jokes around and talk about personal stuff, in this case I usually disconnect right away.

1. The first tip is to try to communicate with your team, if you stay in the back then watch your 6, insurgents are smart and they don't hesitate to flank and strike from the back.
2. Stick with your team, I have seen players rush forward the moment the game starts and end up dead (I'm sure you know this).
3. You maybe be tempted to call reinforcement when a marine is down, but depending on the situation, I try to call reinforcement after at minimum two marines are down.

Take your time and go slow, look around corners inside of buildings and so on. Once you get the hang of it then you can concentrate more on being a little quicker as your skill goes up.

Awesome. Thanks for the tips. I’m older than most id imagine at 43 and played counter strike for years dealing with every personality so I have no issues with using good comms. Anyone know what game engine this is running? Outside of some minor bus the graphical fidelity looks high
