It's up to you if you like to play a game mid development or prefer to hold on and get a more finished product, either way I would recommend it, but there's not a lot of content right now since it's been only a week in EA.
I love the game but it has a lot of drawbacks, weird design choices, and artificial difficulty enhancers such as no hip fire whatsoever as one example that restricts the player in a strange and overwhelming way.
I got good enough at the game with a friend to play the missions only 2 people and win most of the time now but it needs work. It needs more time. It needs more content.
It's good, but if I could do it again, idk if I'd respend that much on it
Honestly, coming back to this, my post above was a bit harsh and it really should not have been. I absolutely love the game and my friend and I have been playing at Non-Stop and a few of our other buddies have been playing it with us quite a bit. It is absolutely fantastic but there are some real frustrations behind it and I think that's where my post came from tonight. We were playing it on and off today and we just kept getting frustrated with it to the point where we would quit and go play something else because it was getting kind of over the top. We kept experiencing bugs or really annoying flaws that would be easily solved but they just aren't yet so it makes playing sometimes a bit annoying which it's supposed to be fun and it's supposed to shed light on what these guys went through but instead it's just shining light on video gamey limitations that have been set forth to intentionally make things tougher for the sake of realism which is a bit over the top in some areas.
Yes, the game does have some really big flaws here and there and it has issues, there are also some really annoying bugs, but yes I would say it is worth the money. The developers have already shown that they mean well on what they have said they are going to deliver because they have released three patches within the first couple of weeks that the game has been out. I have definitely gotten my money's worth of it already, considering the amount of time I have played it and how much fun I've had, but there is definitely stuff that needs improvements and such. Overall, if they continue with it, yeah I think it's worth it. Otherwise, no I wouldn't say it is but only because there are so many issues and flaws that could easily be solved and I'm sure they will eventually get to them
Otherwise only buy it if you are willing to wait about a year for single player to be added.
