Controller Support

Steam states that this game has full controller support. Anyone playing on controller and what is your experience so far?

yes I play on ps4 controller about 50% of the time. the controller support is surprisingly good. i just plug into a USB port on my computer and the game instantly detects the device. can switch between controller and keyboard/mouse in game instantly. i think this game plays pretty well on controller and maybe a little more immersive

Play on Xbox controller, works fine. Game Itself needs more work. very clunky as of now. Plastic chair stops all movement of a marine. Unplayable solo as well.

There is no solo mode though, this is PvP only right now. All you do is join a pvp game without the rest. And you can use a controller, you wont live long.

Dude, I played Ready or Not with a controller and I could consistently earn B ranks, controller is decent but without a mouse you'll have it hard trying to hit long distance shots that you would be able to on mouse.

Controller support is well done within the game. The 2 issues I see are 1) leaning left/right is done by holding D-pad left right. There is a toggle instead of hold option in settings but it doesn’t seem to work. And 2) more just general controller thing, moving quickly but precisely to aim is harder on controller than kb/m without some sort of assist. It’s playable and having full in game support for controller without any 3rd party hacks or key remapping is nice.

You can swap your controller configuration to have manual lean on the analog sticks, which is the scheme I prefer. Toggle is working right now, so please share more information with us on this.

I can't seem to heal teammates using the 'y' button anyone else having this issue? Looking at the default controller setup it show the 'y' button as the interactive button.

It doesn't pop up a help for it when you are close to a down team member, but if I got close and pressed the A button, it would heal them. Same button you use to heal yourself.

Interact on controller should always be the "A" button.

Thanks. I dont know if I am slow, but looking at the controller settings it is very confusing understanding what some buttons do....especially the ones that have multi-roles.

having just got six days in fallujuh using xbox controller i find the right stick really sticky Does it run a type of aim assist that can be turned off?and they should addead zone .
