Being thin in a war is probably an advantage because you can run for much longer and further than some beefed up roid monkey.
To me it doesnt look the the actual LWH that was used by the USMC.
I don't need to be murican to know that a 17yo Kid joining the Corps after Highschool, passing 3 months of basic training before beeing shipped to the warzone doens't look like a grown ass Navy Seal raiding the ♥♥♥♥ out of the Iraq since Operation Iraqi Freedom.
But I got your Point - This is the only point where I can accept a possible customization: Tweaking your apperiance within realistic parameters... such like choosing myself if I want to wear a Hydration Pack, Daypack or huge Backback... a simple OTV without attachments or the full deal with neck- and groin protector... plain helmet or with googles... THOSE are the things making the marines looking bulky, the whole arsenal they carry with them, not the physical appearance. The gear in Six Days by itself is pretty accurate, they also took care about the Marpat/M83-Mix back that time.
