Squad Missions
The fireteam missions are fun and I think they should be kept but adding a squad mission category would be awesome. Maybe have a bigger map that requires careful coordination between 3 fireteams.

...and that doesn't even go into all the basic stuff you would be expected to know beforehand.

So, yeah, a lot to it. If I start pulling stuff out of those books into this game, what level of expectation would I have on random players not knowing their backgrounds possibly understanding what I'm asking of them?

People playing this aren't really random, they came into this game knowlingly, if you even restrict the squad mode (or maybe even just FT/squad lead) to lvl X and above plus friends on your friendlist, then this should be good enough

It's a strategy game and we're dealing with more than a squad but you might enjoy it as much as I have.

The way matchmaking is at this moment is pretty random. You have to just hope to find the right ones. Just played a match with a guy who was from Singapore... no joke.
"not random" as in "people playing this are in it for the tactical experience" not "they are not from somewhere in the world"
