How is this still Early Access?
I find it very strange that this title is in early access when the game development started 18 years ago. The game was cancelled in 2009 but then started again 2017. I just find it odd that it has taken so long yet there appears to be very little on offer for the price.

On face value this seems like a mil sim Star Citizen. I accept that I do not know everything and I'm sure there is someone that will be able to explain this but thought it was relevant to bring up, especially as most of the reviews seem to point to a bare bones project for full price. Thoughts?

Yeah it is kinda strange how "Early Access" works, I look back at older teaser gameplay and the Squad AI looked completely solid so I have no clue how they need more tweaking.

It's the same thing with Ready Or Not, all pre-steam release footage looks absolutely phenomenal and then the game comes out and it was an absolute downgrade compared to what had been teased day in and day out

The game development started a few months after the battle of Fallujah (2004) and was cancelled 2009 so that's almost four years dev time. Which you would hope was not completely thrown away, lets just say that it was the current dev cycle would have started 2017 so that is six years. Six years is still a good period of time.
