I will add that the modern SDIF is much different from the one in 2009. Back then it was a bog standard FPS with Battlefield-esque destruction. Now it’s a tactical FPS with procedural generation.
AI shooting at player through walls and closed doors from another room. But when player starts aiming at bots they become star wars trooper. No way it's great AI. Not even good.

Also, enemies will suppress corners they think players are hiding behind.
Actually the AI in this game actually use supression alot. Witch i have never seen another tactical fps execute in this way. In Arma 3 i use an AI mod that enables advanced supression for the ai. Aswell as allowing them to search homes etc, However the implementation in Six Days from all the footage i've seen on Youtube so far is superior to that.
It's not perfect. and AI is always going to be AI in video games. However it seems a lot more competent than most i've seen/experienced in the past. In some instances they even pop off a few shots and retreat back to cover and whatnot. it's a bit different and i'm curious to experience it for myself.
Edit: quoted the wrong guy but the point stands.
This is from the developer in a different thread:
"Our AI will respond to player actions in a number of ways - gunfire, movement sounds, flashlights, audible lines, etc. They will be aggressive in certain situations and sneaky in others (it all depends on how players force their hand in missions). Flanking players is very common when left unchecked."

Yep, "great AI". One of the best. I really can't believe people are defending this ♥♥♥♥. You are not blind. The video is pretty clear. I can point you to every absurd AI moment in this video and you'll still say it's great AI and protect the developers. Incredible. I guess today's gamers deserve all the crappy, low-quality games that have come out in recent years.
Just compare the AI shooting through walls in RoN to the AI in this game. It looks like you won't be able to shoot through walls as easily in this game as you can in RoN, but if it were possible, I'm sure you'd see how ridiculous it is.

17:50 In the video he said:
"I think he fired at me. I could hear the impact of the rounds, I could not hear the reports rifle at all".
He "thinks", that's not definitive or concrete evidence that AI is shooting through the walls, In any case, on June 22 we would know. You can always refund the game if this is in fact true.
At 17:50, the third bot starts shooting at the unsuspecting player at point-blank range, misses ALL shots, then the AI shoots somewhere above the player model and again aims and shoots at him, never hits the player. Watch this moment again at a lower speed if you do not understand what is happening there. This is another clear example of bad AI in this game. They shoot at the player through walls when they can't physically see them and know exactly where the player is, but suddenly when the player is in front of them, most bots somehow become star wars stormtroopers and miss all their shots or even run away.
Let me first tell you that I'm not defending the developer or affiliated with them.
The first bot fires two shots and misses. I can't tell how many times I have missed an opponent just like him if not worse. In fact, I'm happy to see the AI doesn't have superpower abilities and also misses just like humans. "my comment here is only for bot#1 and doesn't apply to bot#3"
The second bot comes down the stairs but looks in the opposite direction. This bot is dumb, because as he comes down, he can clearly see no threats on his 3oclock and should have focused on his 9oclock instead where the door opening is.
I agree, the third bot wins the dumbest award and it's not looking good.
In my previous comments, I was mainly commenting on shooting through walls which I did not see at 17:50.
